Supervisor short biography: Elena Gonzalez-Fandos is professor in Food Technology in the Department of Agriculture and Food, University of La Rioja, Spain. She is involved in research and teaching activities in food safety, food quality and food technology since 1988. Her research is concerned with the control of foodborne pathogens and the understanding the factors that affect their growth and survival. She has participated in 31 research projects. She has published more than 60 articles in international journals included in JCR. She is reviewer of more than 15 international journals. She has supervised 3 thesis. She participates in Campus Iberus Research lines, supported by Campus Iberus. The Action line supported is FOODIMPACT “Impact of new food technologies on the food quality, safety and nutrition value”. She participates in the Interreg POCTEFA project entitled TESTACOS “Development of a new solution for the auto-control monitoring in live animals in order to minimize the presence of antibiotic residues in the food chain in the area Spain-France. Period 2018-2020. This project is coordinated by Rafael Pagán, University of Zaragoza. In this project participate members of Campus Iberus among others.
